While Carrie Underwood was "crowned" American Idol last Wednesday, I was at Tboy Tomas Morato with all the summer crew except SM Baguio (Hello, hot Xavier guys...esp. Polo Guy and "Cool boy", ahahaha!)We got our souvenirs, pictures taken, special awards (Aie got Most Active, and I got..well...but I'm so proud for the both of us! And we talked to "Julian", finally!!!), and most importantly, our paychecks. I don't care if people tell us that we're underpaid. I don't care at all. What I care about most is having this gig on my college application sheet/job application sheet. I care about the experience. I defenitely loved working at Teriyaki Boy. It helped me value money and work, and made me respect other people more, especially the waiters and waitresses. As our (barok) cake for them goes, "we'll miss you!"
Another highlight this week was the FC outing. Not everyone went, but it was alright. More than half of us came to Eagle Ridge and had so much fun! We went swimming, bowling, and had a bonding session over HAC memorabilia, dedi notebooks, paper chats, etc. While swimming, we were asked to get out because of the lightning. But while eating, the sun was shining so brightly! And the food there is outrageous. I mean, the prices are outrageous. We even made hirits about it, and jokes why a 2-scoop ice cream cone takes more than 10 minutes to prepare. Nevertheless, I loved the outing! Even if planning was hell, the feedback and smiles of my classmates made up for it.
